Fees and Payment Policy

The standard fee for attending the conference is outlined in the pricing section. This registration fee includes breakfast, lunch and refreshments, as well as presentation materials (available only in PDF electronic format). You may submit payment with your registration or request to be invoiced.

Payment is due within 30 days of registering. If registering within 30 days of the conference, payment is due immediately. If registering with an early bird discounted rate, or any special rates, payment must be submitted by the discount expiration date. If payment has not been received prior to the event, a credit card guarantee will be required to attend the conference.


Business casual attire is appropriate for all sessions and receptions. Hotel meeting room temperatures are difficult to regulate and tend to be on the cooler side. It’s a good idea to bring a jacket or sweater.

Dietary Requirements

If you have special dietary requirements, please send an email to specifying your needs at least 30 days prior to the conference. Our team will do their best to accommodate your dietary request, however, requests received within less than 30 days of the conference cannot be guaranteed.

Name Badge Policy

It is very important to wear your name badge during the conference. Admission to all functions, including sessions and the networking events, is by badge only. If you lose your badge, there is a US$50 charge to replace it. Please pay the replacement fee at the Registration Desk to obtain a replacement badge. Conference badges are not transferable and may not be shared.

Free CAMS Seminar

Make the most of your conference experience by attending the CAMS Seminar on Thursday, June 8. This seminar is free for conference delegates who purchase the CAMS6 certification package or are in the process of certifying and will be sitting for the CAMS6 Examination. Please note that seating capacity is extremely limited and participation must be reserved in advance.

Session Materials

Attendees may access and download session handouts and speaker presentations (where available) on the conference materials web page with password: NYRISK17

We encourage you to print or download to your laptop any presentations you would like to have with you during the conference. Printed handouts will not be provided during the conference. Updated conference materials will be available online within 2 weeks after the conference.

Materials will not be available online for the CAMS Exam Seminar. Printed handouts will be provided at the conference for these sessions only.

Certificate of Participation

Certificates will be emailed two (2) weeks after the conference in PDF electronic format.

ACAMS members will automatically receive CAMS credits for attending this event. Additional continuing education credits may also be available from outside organizations. Please contact your accrediting body directly for instructions on submitting an application. ACAMS is not responsible for securing non-CAMS credits on behalf of conference attendees.

ACAMS is a registered sponsor through the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). The conference is accredited for up to 12 CPE credits an 4 CLE credits*.

Registrations and attendance at, or participation in this conference constitutes an agreement by the registrant to ACAMS’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes.

Substitution and Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received up to April 14, 2017 will receive a full refund minus a US$250 administration fee. Cancellations received April 15 – May 12, 2017 will be issued a credit voucher to be used towards next year’s conference. Cancellations received on or after May 13, 2017 will not be refunded.

Substitutions of registered attendees must be submitted in writing to by 12:00 PM on June 7. Please note that if the transfer is made from an ACAMS member to a non-ACAMS member, you will be charged the difference in cost. If you neither attend the conference nor designate a substitute prior to the event, you are still responsible for the full registration fee. Requests submitted after the eligible time-frame will not be considered.

If for any reason ACAMS cancels or reschedules the conference, we do not accept responsibility for airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by registrants.
