Fees and Payment Policy

The standard fee for attending the conference is outlined in the pricing section. This registration fee includes breakfast, lunch and refreshments, as well as presentation materials (available only in PDF electronic format). You may submit payment with your registration or request to be invoiced.

Payment is due within 30 days of registering. If registering within 30 days of the conference, payment is due immediately. If registering with an early bird discounted rate, or any special rates, payment must be submitted by the discount expiration date. If payment has not been received prior to the event, a credit card guarantee will be required to attend the conference.

Certificates of Participation

Certificates will be emailed to participants two weeks after the conference closes (in PDF).

Continuing Education Credits

CAMS Credits

ACAMS members will automatically receive up to 23 CAMS credits for attending this event; 17 credits for the main conference, 3 credits per pre-conference workshop, and 6 CAMS credits for the exam prep seminar. Additional continuing education credits may also be available from outside organizations. Please contact your accrediting body directly for instructions on submitting an application. ACAMS is not responsible for securing non-CAMS credits on behalf of conference attendees.

CLE and CPE Credits

ACAMS is a registered sponsor through the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) and the Nevada CLE Board. Attendees seeking to claim credits through NASBA or the Nevada CLE Board will need to sign in and out of each session. (If you are not a lawyer or accountant, you do not need to sign in and out the sessions for credits.) Sign-in sheets will be located outside of each room. You must attend the entire session to receive credit. Please do not forget to sign in and out of each session, the sign-in sheets will be removed at the end of each session and you will not be able to sign in or out once the sheets are removed. The conference is worth up to 23 CPE credits and up to 18 CLE credits.

Claiming Credits through NASBA – Please send your Certificate of Completion to your state board of accountancy to claim your credits. Please note that you will receive two certificates from ACAMS. The standard conference certificate and an additional certificate with your credit hours. You will receive these certificates in separate communications.

Claiming Credits through Your State Bar Association – If your State Bar does not have reciprocity with Nevada, in most cases, you will need to complete an application and submit your Certificate of Completion along with a timed program. It is up to the discretion of your State Bar Association as to whether or not they will award credits for the training. Please note that you will receive two certificates from ACAMS. The standard conference certificate and an additional certificate with your credit hours. You will receive these certificates in separate communications. State of Nevada will accept CLE credits from OR, ID,UT, AZ, WA and CA.

Conference Materials

Paid attendees will receive a link to the online conference materials on Wednesday, September 21. Please note that materials will be available online only. If you would like hard copies to reference during the sessions, we suggest that you download and print the presentations prior to the conference. Updated conference materials will also be available online after the conference.

Pre-Conference Training

Enhance your training experience by upgrading your registration to include pre-conference workshops, taking place the Sunday before the main conference. Each workshop qualifies for 3 CAMS credits and requires a minimal attendance fee.

  • Main Conference +1 Workshop = 20 CAMS credits
  • Main Conference + 2 Workshops = 23 CAMS credits

On-Demand Recordings

Select conference sessions will be available in audio MP3 format on the ACAMS library page within two (2) weeks after the event. The library page link will be sent separately to attendees closer to the event date. Please note that video files of the live broadcast will be available for viewing but are not downloadable. Recordings are available for up to one year after the conference.

Substitution and Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received up to August 1 will receive a full refund minus a US$250 administration fee. Cancellations received August 2 – 29 will be issued a credit voucher to be used towards next year’s conference. Cancellations received on or after August 30 will not be refunded.

Substitutions of registered attendees must be submitted in writing to info@acams.org by 12:00 PM (ET) on Thursday, September 22. Please note that if the transfer is made from an ACAMS member to a non-ACAMS member, you will be charged the difference in cost. If you neither attend the conference nor designate a substitute prior to the event, you are still responsible for the full registration fee. Requests submitted after the eligible time-frame will not be considered.

If for any reason ACAMS cancels or reschedules the conference, we do not accept responsibility for airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by registrants.
