Visa Information

If you need a travel visa, begin the visa application process now! We strongly encourage you to apply for your visa as early as possible. Please send an email to info@acams.org to obtain a letter of invitation from ACAMS.

Please ensure that you include the following information when requesting the letter of invitation to the above-mentioned email:

  1. Name as it appears on your Passport
  2. Passport number
  3. Passport expiration date
  4. Country of Passport
  5. Dates you will be in the U.S.

A citizen of a foreign country who seeks to enter the U.S. must first obtain a U.S. visa, which is placed in the traveler’s passport, a travel document issued by the traveler’s country of citizenship.

Certain international travelers may be eligible to travel to the U.S. without a visa if they meet the requirements for visa-free travel.

POLICIES & SPECIAL SERVICES

Attire

Business casual attire is appropriate for all sessions and receptions. Hotel meeting room temperatures are difficult to regulate and tend to be on the cooler side. It is a good idea to bring a jacket or sweater.


Fees and Payment Policy

The standard fee for attending the conference is outlined in the pricing section. This registration fee includes breakfast, lunch and refreshments, as well as presentation materials (available only in PDF electronic format). You may submit payment with your registration or request to be invoiced.

Payment is due within 30 days of registering. If registering within 30 days of the conference, payment is due immediately. If registering with an early bird rate, or any special rates, payment must be submitted by the special rate’s expiration date. If payment has not been received prior to the event, a credit card guarantee will be required to attend the conference.


Guest Policy

If you wish to invite a guest to the networking receptions, the cost is US$125 per reception. Please send your request to info@acams.org by 12:00 PM (ET) on December 5, 2019. Payment must be submitted at the time of the request. Upon check-in at the conference, please have your guest present a valid government-issues form of identification at the Registration Desk to pick up their name badge. Requests that are submitted after the eligible time-frame will not be considered.


Name Badge Policy

It is very important to wear your name badge during the conference. Admission to all functions, including sessions and the networking events, is by badge only. If you lose your badge, there is a US$50 charge to replace it. Please pay the replacement fee at the Registration Desk to obtain a replacement badge. Conference badges are nontransferable and may not be shared.


Photography/Videography

Registrations and attendance at, or participation in this conference constitutes an agreement by the registrant to ACAMS’ use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes.


Special Dietary Requirements

If you have special dietary restrictions (Kosher, Vegetarian, Gluten Free, etc.), please email info@acams.org at least 30 days prior to the conference. Our team will do their best to accommodate your dietary request; however, requests received within less than 30 days of the conference cannot be guaranteed.

Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, please email info@acams.org if you require specific aids or services during the conference.


Substitution and Cancellation

Cancellations received up to October 14, 2019 will receive a full refund minus a US$250 administration fee. Cancellations received October 15, 2019–November 11, 2019 will be issued a credit voucher to be used toward next year’s conference. Cancellations received on or after November 12, 2019 will not be refunded.

Substitutions of registered attendees must be submitted in writing to info@acams.org by 12:00 PM (ET) on December 5, 2019. Please note that if the transfer is made from an ACAMS member to a non-ACAMS member, you will be charged the difference in cost. If you neither attend the conference nor designate a substitute prior to the event, you are still responsible for the full registration fee. Requests submitted after the eligible time-frame will not be considered. If for any reason ACAMS cancels or reschedules the conference, we do not accept responsibility for airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by registrants.

Certificate of Participation

Certificates will be emailed 3 (three) weeks after the conference (in PDF electronic format).


Session Materials

Attendees will receive a link to the online conference materials a week before the conference. Please note that materials will be available online only. If you would like hard copies to reference during the sessions, we suggest that you download and print the presentations prior to the conference. Updated conference materials will also be available online after the conference.
