Fees and Payment Policy

The fee for attending the conference is outlined on the pricing page. This registration fee includes continental breakfast, lunch and light refreshments, and access to presentation materials (PDF only).

You will be invoiced for the conference (and where appropriate, workshop) fees within one week of registering online, and payment is due within 30 days of receipt of invoice. If registering within 30 days of the conference, payment is due immediately upon receipt of invoice.

If registering with an early bird discount rate, or any special rates, payment must be submitted by the discount expiration date. If payment has not been received prior to the event, a credit card guarantee will be required at the onsite registration desk to facilitate entry to the conference.

Public Sector Pricing

ACAMS is proud to be a community of private and public sector industry professionals. In order to facilitate wider participation in our events, and in keeping with most ACAMS programmes, we offer special rates for public sector delegates.

Representatives of the following types of organisation are eligible for these preferential rates:

  • Government and public organisations (at federal, regional and local levels) including central banks, state regulators, FIUs, law enforcement and military
  • International bodies e.g. Europol, European Commission, FATF, MONEYVAL
  • NGOs and Arm’s-Length Bodies (ALBs)
  • Publicly funded academic institutions – both academic staff and students
  • Think tanks
  • 3rd Sector, not-for-profit, registered charities

Public Sector attendees are eligible for a $500 discount off the standard price for the ACAMS European Conference. This discount can be applied at any time but cannot be combined with any other discounts.

Public Sector delegates may also register to attend ACAMS pre-conference training workshops (worth up to $300), free of charge, but these places must be booked in advance and are limited.

Dress Code

Business attire is suitable for all conference sessions and receptions. For the pre-conference workshops and CAMS Live Preparation Seminar (all held on the ‘Training Day’ on 30 May 2018), business casual is appropriate. Conference Centre room temperatures can be on the cooler side, so we recommend dressing with this in mind.

Dietary Requirements

If you have any special dietary requirements, please email with specifics, at least 30 days before the start of the event. Our team will do their best to accommodate these requests. However, requests received less than 30 days before the conference cannot be guaranteed.

Name Badges

You will be asked to present a valid, government-issued PHOTO ID that matches the name you are registered under before being issued with a conference badge onsite. It is very important to wear your badge during the conference as entrance to all sessions, the exhibition hall, and networking receptions is by badge only. There is a US$50 replacement charge for lost badges, payable at the registration desk. Conference badges are not transferable and must not be shared.

Presentation Materials

A link to the presentation materials page will be emailed to registered attendees on 24 May 2018. Some presentations will be available before the conference on this page and the mobile app; all presentations will be available on this page and the mobile app post event. If you’d like to reference printed materials during the sessions, we suggest you print these before coming to the conference, as there are limited business centre facilities onsite.

Certificate of Participation

Certificates will be emailed 2 weeks after the end of the conference (in PDF format). ACAMS members will automatically have CAMS credits added to their member profile.

Continuing Education Credits



ACAMS members automatically receive up to 18 CAMS credits for attending this event; 12 credits for the main conference, 3 credits for each pre-conference workshop, and 6 credits for the CAMS Live Prep Seminar. Additional continuing education credits may also be available from other organisations; please contact your accrediting body directly to enquire.


Your registration and attendance at this conference constitutes an agreement by the registrant to ACAMS’ use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant’s or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, electronic reproduction and audio reproduction.

Substitution and Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received up to 30 March 2018 will receive a full refund minus US$250 administration fee. Cancellations received 31 March – 27 April 2018 will be issued with a credit voucher to be used towards next year’s conference. Cancellations received on or after 28 April 2018 will not be refunded.

Substitutions of registered attendees must be submitted in writing to by 12.00pm (CEST) on Wednesday, 23 May 2018. Please note that if the transfer is made from an ACAMS member to a non-ACAMS member, you will be charged the difference in cost. If you don’t attend the conference, or fail to designate a substitute prior to 23 May 2018, you are still responsible for the full registration fee. Requests for substitutions submitted after 12.00pm (CEST) on 23 May 2018 will not be considered.

If for any reason ACAMS cancels or reschedules the conference, we do not accept responsibility for airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by registrants.
