POLICIES & SPECIAL SERVICES

Attire

Business casual attire is appropriate for all sessions and receptions. Hotel meeting room temperatures are difficult to regulate and tend to be on the cooler side. It is a good idea to bring a jacket or sweater.


Fees and Payment Policy

The standard fee for attending the conference is outlined in the pricing section. This registration fee includes breakfast, lunch and refreshments, as well as presentation materials (available only in PDF electronic format). You may submit payment with your registration or request to be invoiced.

Payment is due within 30 days of registering. If registering within 30 days of the conference, payment is due immediately. If registering with an early bird discounted rate, or any special rates, payment must be submitted by the discount expiration date. If payment has not been received prior to the event, a credit card guarantee will be required to attend the conference.


Guest Policy

If you wish to invite a guest to the networking receptions, the cost is US$125 per reception. Please send your request to info@acams.org by 12:00 PM (EDT) on June 19, 2019. Payment must be submitted at the time of the request. Upon check-in at the conference, please have your guest present a valid government-issues form of identification at the Registration Desk to pick up their name badge. Requests that are submitted after the eligible time-frame will not be considered.


Name Badge Policy

It is very important to wear your name badge during the conference. Admission to all functions, including sessions and the networking events, is by badge only. If you lose your badge, there is a US$50 charge to replace it. Please pay the replacement fee at the Registration Desk to obtain a replacement badge. Conference badges are nontransferable and may not be shared.


Photography/Videography

Registrations and attendance at, or participation in this conference constitutes an agreement by the registrant to ACAMS’ use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes.


Special Dietary Requirements

If you have special dietary restrictions (Kosher, Vegetarian, Gluten Free, etc.), please email info@acams.org at least 30 days prior to the conference. Our team will do their best to accommodate your dietary request; however, requests received within less than 30 days of the conference cannot be guaranteed.

Substitution and Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received up to April 11, 2020 will receive a full refund minus a US$250 administration fee. Cancellations received April 12, 2020 – May 11, 2020 will be issued a credit voucher to be used toward next year’s conference. Cancellations received on or after May 12, 2020 will not be refunded.

Substitutions of registered attendees must be submitted in writing to info@acams.org by 12:00 PM (EDT) on June 7, 2020. Please note that if the transfer is made from an ACAMS member to a non-ACAMS member, you will be charged the difference in cost. If you neither attend the conference nor designate a substitute prior to the event, you are still responsible for the full registration fee. Requests submitted after the eligible time frame will not be considered.

If for any reason ACAMS cancels or reschedules the conference, we do not accept responsibility for airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by registrants.

Continuing Education Credits

CAMS CREDITS

ACAMS members will automatically receive up to 17 ACAMS credits for attending this event: 11 continuing education credits can be earned after the completion of the main conference and 3 credits per pre-conference workshop, or 6 credits for the CAMS and CGSS Preparation Seminars. Additional continuing education credits may also be available from outside organizations. Please contact your accrediting body directly for instructions on submitting an application. ACAMS is not responsible for securing non-CAMS credits on behalf of conference attendees.

CPE CREDITS

CPE

ACAMS is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.

State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org. This Group-live delivery program qualifies for up to 12 CPE credits.

CLE CREDITS

ACAMS is seeking accreditation for CLE credits through the New York State Board. Attorneys will need to self-report CLE credits.

All attendees will have access to audio recordings of select sessions within 3 (three) weeks after the conference.

Attendees will receive a link to the online conference materials a week before the conference. Please note that materials will be available online only. If you would like hard copies to reference during the sessions, we suggest that you download and print the presentations prior to the conference.
