Taxi Service

There are more than 10 taxi companies that provide service to and from the airport and locations throughout Las Vegas. Taxicab service is regulated by the Nevada Taxicab Authority, a Nevada State agency responsible for issuing medallions and setting fares.

Some taxis will not accept credit card payments. Customers should notify the attendant if they plan to use a credit card for payment. There is a $2.00 charge on all fares originating at the airport. The maximum number of passengers allowed in any taxi is five (5), including infants and children.

Terminal 1 Taxis

Taxicabs are available on the east side of baggage claim, outside door exits 1–4. Airport personnel are available to help queue the lines and provide assistance as needed.

Terminal 3 Taxis

At Terminal 3, taxis are conveniently located outside on Level Zero. There are 20 taxi-loading positions on the west end of the building to serve domestic travelers and 10 loading positions on the east side of the building to accommodate international travelers. Quick exit lanes will allow traffic to leave the airport quickly and airport personnel are available to assist as needed.

Ride Share Pick Up from Terminal 1

  • The Ride Share pick up is located on level 2M of the parking garage.
  • From Baggage Claim, take the elevator near door #2 up to level 2.
  • Cross the pedestrian bridge on level 2 to the Terminal 1 Parking Garage.

Ride Share Pick Up from Terminal 3

  • The Ride Share pick up is located on the Valet level of the Terminal 3 parking garage.
  • From Baggage Claim, take the elevator near door #52, #54 or #56 up to level 1.
  • Cross the pedestrian bridge on level 1 to the Terminal 3 Parking Garage.

Visa Information

If you need a travel visa, begin the visa application process now! We strongly encourage you to apply for your visa as early as possible. Please send an email to info@acams.org to obtain a letter of invitation from ACAMS.

Please ensure that you include the following information when requesting the letter of invitation to the above-mentioned email:

  1. Name as it appears on your Passport
  2. Passport number
  3. Passport expiration date
  4. Country of Passport
  5. Dates you will be in the U.S.

A citizen of a foreign country who seeks to enter the U.S. must first obtain a U.S. visa, which is placed in the traveler’s passport, a travel document issued by the traveler’s country of citizenship.

Certain international travelers may be eligible to travel to the U.S. without a visa if they meet the requirements for visa-free travel.

POLICIES & SPECIAL SERVICES

Attire

Business casual attire is appropriate for all sessions and receptions. Hotel meeting room temperatures are difficult to regulate and tend to be on the cooler side. It is a good idea to bring a jacket or sweater.


Fees and Payment Policy

The standard fee for attending the conference is outlined in the pricing section. This registration fee includes breakfast, lunch and refreshments, as well as presentation materials (available only in PDF electronic format). You may submit payment with your registration or request to be invoiced.

Payment is due within 30 days of registering. If registering within 30 days of the conference, payment is due immediately. If registering with an early bird rate, or any special rates, payment must be submitted by the special rate’s expiration date. If payment has not been received prior to the event, a credit card guarantee will be required to attend the conference.


Guest Policy

If you wish to invite a guest to the networking receptions, the cost is US$125 per reception. Please send your request to info@acams.org by 9:00 AM (PST) on September 19, 2019. Payment must be submitted at the time of the request. Upon check-in at the conference, please have your guest present a valid government-issues form of identification at the Registration Desk to pick up their name badge. Requests that are submitted after the eligible time-frame will not be considered.


Name Badge Policy

It is very important to wear your name badge during the conference. Admission to all functions, including sessions and the networking events, is by badge only. If you lose your badge, there is a US$50 charge to replace it. Please pay the replacement fee at the Registration Desk to obtain a replacement badge. Conference badges are nontransferable and may not be shared.


Photography/Videography

Registrations and attendance at, or participation in this conference constitutes an agreement by the registrant to ACAMS’ use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes.


Special Dietary Requirements

If you have special dietary restrictions (Kosher, Vegetarian, Gluten Free, etc.), please email info@acams.org at least 30 days prior to the conference. Our team will do their best to accommodate your dietary request; however, requests received within less than 30 days of the conference cannot be guaranteed.

Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, please email info@acams.org if you require specific aids or services during the conference.


Substitution and Cancellation

Cancellations received up to July 29, 2019 will receive a full refund minus a US$250 administration fee. Cancellations received July 30, 2019–August 26, 2019 will be issued a credit voucher to be used toward next year’s conference. Cancellations received on or after August 27, 2019 will not be refunded.

Substitutions of registered attendees must be submitted in writing to info@acams.org by 9:00 AM (PST) on September 19, 2019. Please note that if the transfer is made from an ACAMS member to a non-ACAMS member, you will be charged the difference in cost. If you neither attend the conference nor designate a substitute prior to the event, you are still responsible for the full registration fee. Requests submitted after the eligible time-frame will not be considered.

If for any reason ACAMS cancels or reschedules the conference, we do not accept responsibility for airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by registrants.

Continuing Education Credits

CAMS CREDITS

CAMS Seal

ACAMS members will automatically receive up to 22 CAMS credits for attending this event: 16 continuing education CAMS credits can be earned after the completion of the main conference and 3 credits per pre-conference workshop or 6 CAMS credits for the CAMS Preparation Seminar. Additional continuing education credits may also be available from outside organizations. Please contact your accrediting body directly for instructions on submitting an application. ACAMS is not responsible for securing non-CAMS credits on behalf of conference attendees.

CPE CREDITS

CPE

ACAMS is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.

State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org. This Group-live delivery program qualifies for up to 22 CPE credits.

CLE CREDITS

ACAMS is seeking accreditation for CLE credits through the Nevada State Board. Attorneys will need to self-report CLE credits.
